Take the vehicle,
take the friends,
buy the booze
with the money he lends.
Follow the road
and where it leads,
have the smarts
to watch the speed.
Drive on the road
and not n the side,
make sure it is
a safe ride.
When you get there,
if you please,
have the sense
to give the keys.

SIGN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD
Sometimes
It’s that sign
on the side of the road
that beckons you
to follow
an unknown
I'm gonna take this time to tell you;
Just gonna take this time to say.
That words cannot do justice for you;
I'm speechless,
I'm on this lonesome highway
I came here all alone
I'm leaving hurt behind me
that I felt I'd overcome
A fool I was to stay
