Working in unity for one goal is vital in any relationship. First, you must have a purpose or idea in mind. Second, you must have realistic ideas about how to reach your goal and third you must stay on the track you start or communicate well enough to know if your strategies need to be revised. Once you can manage these things you will be able to handle anything that arises between the two of you.
Being one with your partner doesn’t mean you must agree, enjoy and do the same thing. In reality it is the opposite. Working together means understanding one another well enough to use your knowledge to compliment each other, respect your differences and build on the talents. You may enjoy working with others, but your partner may enjoy doing things for others. Just because your talents aren’t the same doesn’t mean you can’t compliment one another and find ways to achieve goals that are important to each of you. Enjoy and nurture each others experiences. Coming together as one can be a rewarding experience, one that you will find yourself looking forward to at the end of every day. This can be accomplished by anyone that is willing to put in the time and energy it takes.
You must have good communication, true compassion and realistic ideas; in reality the only person who can make decisions for is us is we ourselves. Understanding others and what is best for them as completely as we understand ourselves is impossible. Our uniqueness goes with the purpose God had in mind for the world when he created it. He had something different in mind for each and everyone of us that when put together would make his creation spectacular In the end. If we had all been given the same talents then their couldn’t have been a realistic objective or goal , it wouldn’t have worked. Every day would be mundane and boring, not that we would have known because we wouldn’t have known any different.
The pleasure of experiencing the excitement we get from the uniqueness of our world and one another would have been non existent. Our individuality is what makes us so important in the way the world works and what He wants us to view and receiver it. Embrace and build on this. He had a realistic vision that He looked at when He created the earth and how He expects us to work towards it everyday to achieve. It is doable with a little thought and a if done correctly, can be pleasurable instead of work.
The old saying "keep your eye on the ball/prize" may sound like a cliché, but it really is a vital key. Staying focused and on track is the most important rule to success. Understand that you mayl never be able to make one plan and stick with it from A-Z. There will be times you will need to revise your strategy and review new ideas and creative ways to reach your goal. This may need to be done many times. This is where communication becomes an important key. If you don’t set goals when you work on a project, you will never finish it. The same thing happens with a relationship. Nothing happens naturally
Smooth teamwork and being on one accord with your partner is possible. Listen to find what God wants from you so you can enjoy the experience, pleasure and rewards of working to make it happen together. Nurture this daily. Never deviate from your goals and the steps you have set to take you where you are supposed to be. When you are one with God and follow the strategies or tools stated above, then you will become unified as one.
