It mostly starts
once upon a time
and to keep kids' attention
usually sound in rhyme
It could be
love at first site
or a princess saved
by her shining knight
A rocket ship soars
and flies through the stars
or man meeting aliens
on a mission to mars
Mermaids and unicorns
rainbows and dragons
kids mesmerized
by whatever happens
At the end of the stories
at the end of the day
give a hug and a kiss
may sweet dreams come and play

Sounds of waves crashing
Saltwater spray in my face
Thunderclaps with resounding booms
Chilling winds blowing knowing

A dazzling fairy tale, a peddler's woe,
a choo choo train that has far to go.
An artisan's craft,
or a boy who'd forgotten
It mostly starts
once upon a time
and to keep kids' attention
usually sound in rhyme
It could be
love at first site

Love
I am making
Up stories
Just to buy
Your heart
Calm
Men don't make
Things up
Just trying to
Solve problems
When women fire
Words
Stories spoken everywhere you go,
written upon sheets of white;
many stories that are true,
some just don't seem right.
