Baby toys to steer clear of would be any toys that would potentially harm a child. Toys with sharp pointed edges that would cause a child to accidentally stick it in his/her eyes or ears are definitely toys a parent would want to steer clear of. Toys with small buttons or beads on them that can choke a child if they come off while the child is playing with the toy are also to be avoided at all costs. It is imperative to be selective about toys you buy for your children. To be on the safe side, never, ever buy toys with buttons, marbles, beads and other little trinkets that will easily come off of the toy. We know that babies and small children love to pick up anything that they see and put it in their mouths. It would be very unfortunate for something to happen that could have been avoided. We encourage parents, especially young parents, to be aware of the safety issues of toys you buy for your babiesand small children. When buying little stuffed animals for babies, it may be okay, but be careful even then. Very young babies who haven't learned to hold their heads up and turn their heads may accidentally be smothered by stuffed animals. Yes, the stuffed animals are precious, but the life and well-being of your child is more important that any stuffed animal. So please, all parents with babies and small children, be very aware and cautious when buying toys. As the saying goes, "Love is what love does." So, love your child and protect them from toys that can harm them.
