Seemingly as essential to everyday life as the automobile, the mobile phone has become for better or worse an intrinsic part of modern life and culture. The mobile phone was once a new technological device that for the elite had interesting applications, fast forward a decade or so and this masterful piece of tech has filtered all the way down the social ladder and saturated the mass market.

Why has this device become integral to the modern way of life?

People who have a sudden and unexpected medical emergency have also found the mobile phone a very versatile and essential first aid tool. The cell phone has proved time and time again that no matter where you are located it can aid you in turning a dangerous situation around, this is surely one of the more noble uses of such tech.

3. Business

The modern business could not survive without the use of the mobile phone, being able to get hold of a client or employee on the move is a pivotal aspect of not letting a business opportunity slip away. The mobile phone has allowed people within the professional working environment to overcome and adapt to any given situation on a minute by minute basis.

4. Information

A library was once the only way you could access interesting and useful information, now with nearly every mobile phone having the capability of using the Internet, information of any kind is available within a few seconds. From weather information to food recipes there really is no limit to the knowledge that can be found on a mobile phone.

5. Social Networking

The phenomena of social networking is not limited to a home computer or a cocktail party, at least not since the Internet has seamlessly been integrated into the mobile phone. It is now not only possible but extremely popular to update and inform your inner circle of your status. You can network yourself or your product on the move and at your convenience thanks to the mobile phone.
