Why is society blaming a nonliving object for children gaining weight? Mc Donald's Happy Meals are not to blame for  U. S. children becoming obese. Happy Meals do contain a high calorie count, but Happy Meals are not to blame for children gaining weight. Who should be blamed for children gaining weight? You can't blame the kids for the weight gain. Therefore, you must place the blame on the parents for buying the Happy Meals in the first place. You can also place blame on Mc Donald's for producing high calorie, high fat content Happy Meals.

Ultimately, you should really place the blame of obesity on the chickens and the cows for containing high levels of fat and for being in a position of being used to produce food for kids. But, the chickens and cows can't reason, and can't make the decisions if they are going to live outside running around eating and breathing in fresh air. These animals do not have a say in the matter, it is up to their owners to decide how a cow or chicken will live, and then die, and how it will be used to feed people.

Children can't be blamed for their obesity, because they are too young,(in most cases)to make a decision, and to buy food for themselves. Kids' parents will decide to buy Happy Meals for kids. The kids can have a say in the matter, but their parents or Grandparents, or legal Guardians will supply the food that they eat and live off of.

Children may have a say in what they eat, but it is the responsibility of their parents as to what they eat. Kids will learn from a parent's example, and  lifestyle choices as to what they will eat. Kids will learn from their parents on how to live, and what to eat. In order for kids to live a healthy life, parents will have to teach their kids the healthy foods to eat, not foods that are fattening.

Parents can just say No to purchasing Mc Donald's Happy Meals. Even though, parents may be in a hurry,or be tired after working many long hard hours, feeding your children healthy, nutritious foods is one of the most important aspects of every day life. Even though the kids may yell, and carry on when they see the fast food signs while you are driving home from work, you do not have to give in, allowing your kids to eat fast food. You, the child's parent have the final say in what your kids eat everyday. You have the ultimate say, the responsibility to teach your kids right from wrong, their core values, and proper nutrition.

When parents teach their kids to eat healthy foods for every meal, and do not bring fast food, and junk food into their homes, then kids will grow up eating the right foods. They will develop a healthy palate for foods that are good for them. The more junk you feed your family, the more junk food they will desire. It just takes a small amount of effort, making out a weekly dinner menu, buying groceries at the store once a week, and putting money aside for your meal planning and buying. Besides, think of it this way parents, you will be saving a lot of money by not buying Happy Meals from McDonald's.
