Finding happiness at work

Happiness is a decision. If you set your mind to be happy and contented of what types of your work do you have right now, whether you like it or not, its all yours to decide.

Back at home, I can work with my chosen profession. Where all the benefits and compensations are high and recognized by the government itself. I can say that I was happy for that type of job. But, things changed. When people worked in another country, you have to be flexible and know how to adjust. At the beginning of my work in this foreign country, I feel the pressure. Emotionally, physically and the types of environment I have to deal with. Where could I find happiness there? Would somebody make me happy? I was drained mentally at one point. Where does all my knowledge gone? Remember, I was in the stage to adjust, to relate but in one point it needs time and it was hard for me to give myself. I couldn't even gave my smile. Time to time, I learned. That if I will not decide to be happy at my work so when? Thats the question I injected to myself.

Everyday I wake up with a decision. Be sad at your working field or be merry. I told myself everyday that to be happy makes everything great. I learned more humility on my job, more patience and more understanding. It took me time to adjust but I can say its worth it. I focused on people, not with myself. I try to give my best, not trying to be the best. I learned to adjust with people, not with the thought that they have to adjust for me. When there's a situation at hand, I try to respond, not to react. If they need much of my time, I learned how to give it without any doubts and without any complained. Its worth it. I can say that its more rewarding. If you learn to give, everything will come back to you in a thousand folds. I can say that happiness is the inner you that you just need to unleash. Find yourself first before happiness finds you.
