Lord for my friend I now humbly pray,

Lift him up, undertake for him today,

Now for him move mountains I pray,

Open many doors along Recovery’s way,

Daily in strength may he now grow,

Victory along this path may he know,

Guide his steps day by day I pray,

Give him joy along  Recovery’s pathway,

Day by day may he truly find,

Inner strength and lasting peace of mind,

O Lord answer his prayers I pray

And guide him along Recovery’s pathway.

-  for a friend who said “He was really going to pray for the opening of a door of opportunity in his life. He said “if the prayer is answered he will really believe. “  My prayer is that that door will be opened and that this will be just a step on the way to recovery
