Trying to clear my head
But my thoughts are too loud.
Like the rays from the sun
Blocked by a rain cloud.
I just need to sit and think
But too much is taking place.
In the busy world of "me"
That is right behind my face.
I'm trying to fix this puzzle
But the pieces just won't fit.
And just when I think I've got it,
I check the pieces, they're not it.
I need and want to talk
But no one else is there.
I can talk to anybody
If to listen they would dare.
I would talk to myself
But that would scare me and I.
So I throw around my thoughts
As the time passes by.
Inside this little me
I'm not happy. I'm not sad.
So much complexity
In every thought that I have had.
Trying to grasp the moment
But get lost in every one.
Wish that I could understand
This person I've become.
Invisible to some
Laughing stock to the rest.
I can not win for losing
Not even at my best.
I think highly of myself
Yet my esteem is so low.
I used to love being me
But where did that me go?
I can't look in the mirror
Makes me think to deep.
The reflection that I see
Makes it hard for me to sleep.
Maybe in the morning
I will be alright.
If I could just clear my head
By the end of the night.

There is a boy named Benji
Yes, that's me I'm a hopeless case
At least what I see myself as
When coping with my inner struggle
The roller coaster was winding down the tracks
Each twist and turn is a bashing inside my mind
Each flip is a bang against
When you see me,
Do you see the love emanating from my soul in sweet rapture?
Do you see the promise of a love that surpasses
