Have we made our children numb?
Anesthetized,
deadened.
Have they lost their sensitivity,
by watching such images again and again.
That they no longer shock or chill them?
Has violence lost its reality?
Has life lost its worth?
That it's fun to kill on a video game,
and leaves no feeling when it's real.
It is glorified in the movies,
gangsters are always cool.
Those with the guns or aggression,
are often shown as those who win!
Have we made our children numb?
Anesthetized,
deadened.
Have they lost their sensitivity?
Have their minds become sedated?
