Look at you, with your style all your own
flashing, wasn't your thing,
it showed. A smile that
could light any room.
No one knew you could be gone
any soon. But you did, and you're still here
playing with the family, fighting at the job,
resting easy.
When you went, i couldn't believe, it seemed
so unreal staring at you as you sleep.
This wasn't the family's diva, oh no.
Though she dressed in her blues, and adorned with
jewelry she would love. This, this was just
the "room" she decorated. It wasn't her.
She's looking down at the family, and
sitting while she rests.
Watching what we watched,
laughed when we laughed,
and was even there to wipe the tears.
Watching us grow, and waiting for us to join her
