Of course a man can love only one woman. Why wouldn’t he be able to? Men are born equipped with a heart and emotions just like women, the only difference is that society has been pumping all of us full of the same information for ages…men are weak, they chase women, and they can’t keep their “thing” in their pants.  Think about it.  Honestly, it’s ridiculous.  How can this be a “man’s world” if the men that we are supposed to look up to are classified as little boys chasing after women?  Men should be offended at what society has reduced them to over the years.  Society says they have no morals, no strength, no integrity, and no self-control.  Whether people want to admit it or not, this misinformation has an impact on the relationships that women have with men in both romantic and platonic capacities.  What if we had been fed a different story over all these years?  I think that a lot of men’s supposed “inability” to be faithful, and society’s subsequent acceptance of their infidelity is based on a perpetuated mistruth.  If a man loves a woman and he chooses to be with her and only her, this is what he will do.  Women do it, men can too.  There is no secret formula; there is no game to be played.  Women and men should stop trying to play each other.  The scenario is all too common.  Numbers are exchanged, no one wants to be the first to call, no one wants to be the first to say I love you, and so on and so forth.  Someone in some mysterious galaxy of romantic dysfunction is making up these rules, and it is almost guaranteed that whoever this person is…they are single! 

A man can love one woman; a woman can love one man.  If we can learn to approach each other without giving any credit to what we’ve heard over the years, realizing that each person is an individual with their own thoughts and feelings, it would be so much easier to take the time to see what a man is actually capable of.  Men are not the weak beings that society has portrayed them to be…the self-fulfilling prophecy has just played a huge role in the past and today.  Unless the man gives you a valid reason not to trust him, give him a chance!  You may be surprised at what you find.
