Bitter torn shreds of blue
cold tunnels swirl out of control
thrown aside in raging winds
fighting in my stormy soul
Cold hands grasp the slippery rail
and waters break across my back
hold fast the seas that lift and fall
nothing helps when dark sky's crack
My world is crashing all around me
beaten down the wind pushes hard
no sun, no stars, just angry blows
leaving me forever scared

When you can watch the grand parade
One behind the other
Like a video arcade
From off the coast of
As she approaches to ravish the land
We scatter like roaches burying ourselves in sand
For we have no defense to it's shear

The stars dimmed,
as the clouds came in

Ne'er has the rain pounded so heavily as now.
With ever step the trudging slows.
