It seems to me that nowadays children want to grow up faster than ever before, and why is this we ask? Could it be because we are indoctrinating our children with TV, video games, DVD players, Video players, CDs, MP3s, Ipods, the Internet not to mention the amount of high-tech children's toys you can get. Why cant we just let our children be children? I was a child born in the 1980s and therefore was on the cusp of this junk culture when it developed, with the 1980s came a immense greed for money and high-tech equipment and to me it seems its only got worst.
Now some people don't even have to take there kids shopping because you can buy it all over the Internet.
What happened to climbing in trees and reading books, oh yeah they tore all the trees down and you can get books on tape!
Doesn't our new way of life seem so De-personalized?
