The decline of the US as a world power

United States has seen the company he was C.E.O. of before taking office moved its headquarters to Dubai to be closer to the federally levered pork-barrel. The war is adding half a trillion dollars of federal deficits so far approximately, and is likely to require at least 100 billion dollars per year of expense the next decade minimally if the Shia are to retain dominance of the Iraqi Government. The sole viable alternative measure to expedite peace would be to distribute all of the world's largest oil reserve to private ownership by the citizens of Iraq in a non-tradable for 20 years public stock offering. Their taxes can fund the Iraqi Government. The American involvement in Iraq places the United States in the role of protagonist of another Toynbean category most fiercely resisted by any people historically; resisting imposition of a foreign religion. As a Christian nation the Iraqi's will perceive Christian values as inimical to their Muhammedist beliefs and promote resistance generally to an associated government.

A creative industrial and post-industrial majority is becoming a financial services repressive minority mankind a living taking a percent of other people's work. A member of the internal Mexican proletariat as a blue collar welder may seek to buy a $200,000 home on payments and lose it do to swings in the housing market. The entire volatility and nature of American life and financing is perilous not only for the middle class non-immigrants.

The non-creative minority seeks to flood this nation with cheap foreign labor to drive down wages and to send manufacturing jobs overseas for cheap foreign production while Indian accountants and white collar service workers take care of the books. Heavy foreign borrowing finances government while taxes are cut on global corporations doing business in the United States. Simultaneously the federal government gives non-competitive contracts to global corporations such as Halliburton that are HQ'd in Dubai. Federal policy forces reliance on fossil fuels and autos from abroad creating annual vast current accounts deficits. The nation has a plethora of problems associated with Toynbean cycles of decline yet

The United States has entered the Universal phase of a civilization, another Toynbean characteristic associated with the fall of civilizations. A nation in the universal phase expands beyond its own borders and dilutes to a self-destructive extent it's intensity of creative, security and identity. A nation in this phase in quest of profits will replace its own leadership with foreign workers, and flood its military with foreign conscripts. A new international or transnational leadership will degrade the former national base to provincial status where the repressed internal proletariat will simultaneously take over and replace the former creative majority now repressive minority as national leaders as a province in the new universal civilization. The situation can be avoided by seeking to technological paths higher and higher beyond the summit into the sky in a new range of responses to challenges of success.

It is possible that the Earths magnetic field to create electrical power in counter rotating space station electrical motors. The planet Saturn has a magnetic field that rotates ever 10 hours forty-seven minutes and six second; it could be used for electrical power on moons such as Encyclidus, while N.A.S.A. could study moving Titan to an optimal orbit closer to the sun able to support potential life.
