The decline and fall of civilizations is a study of perennial interest for philosophers of history; isn't America in the universal phase and set for the fall? That question seems to be answered in the affirmative when the U.S.A. is compared to the Roman Republic-Empire, The Athenian City-State and the British Empire. Globalization replacing national interests, transnationalists eclipsing national interests and a number of other obvious terms of fulfillment of Toynbean paradigmata for the cycle of civilization present. The challenge is to change the inevitable historical determinism through intelligent corrections with free will. Is it possible to arrest the civilization at a standing wave of efficiency and synthetically create a sustainable non0-standard hybrid nationalism able to transcend the traditional phases of civilization? The answer to that question probably is no-the easy way of trans-nationalism and the way of the universal phase does not require mass philosophical intelligence to fulfill-only greed and determination, and thus the lemmingway of the masses to national decline following lemming leadership into globalization and ingress of waves of an external proletariat will likely prevail. It's yet worth trying to change toward something new to break the cycle of national decline within the decline of the United States as a substantial element of western civilization.

Structurally the United States is becoming taken over by global corporatists with an amoral scientistic social philosophy of mindless atheism devoid of even the redeeming secular concerns of humanists. While dark energy is accelerating the Universe faster and faster toward a big rip ending the Universe as we know it in just 20 billion years global corporate businesspeople subvert traditional American nationalism and prioritize an amoral global consumerist entity as bad as that of a communist Utopia wherein no one may have a solitary independent political thought or expression.
