Why nationalism has disappeared

Nationalism is under attack yet it hasn't disappeared. Local and national political control by democracy hasn't been eradicated by corporatism and socialism yet. With substantial renewed political will self-determination and democracy may survive for a time though global networks, banking, business, communications, computing, travel and so forth have gone global. Nationalism is a rational way to keep firewalls on the Earth in order to prevent global dictatorship, planetary corruption and ecological annihilation. Nationalism got a bad reputation as a developenmtal form because of the abuse by elites of the military powers it had in many instances, yet don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!. Nationalism and national democracy was corrupted and ruled by elites of the past-yet it was the right stage and level for the conservation of significant human civil rights and political self determination.

Virtually every sophomoric politicians and petty megalomaniac wants a global organization-the world is the biggest political realm they can imagine and they want it all.

A short answer to why American nationalism is disappearing in the United States is that the pervasive influence of broadcast media propaganda for globalism and global corporatism has brainwashed Americans into become totally dependent on foreign oil and auto suppliers. Americans are trained as corporatist lackeys and given whatever soma they need for pacification. Global corporatists seek to disable American nationalism in order to make the nation a compliant, spineless servo-unit of lowest paid consumers most supportive of global corporate profit margins. The United States citizen today is trained to believe that civil rights means the nation must be a revolving door of immigrants with global zone cell phones exporting cash from legal and illegal work while the people of the United States lay down and run up debt purchasing cheaper foreign goods and giving up any sort of desire for complete energy independence with non-fossil fuels and home-produced electricity for heating an automobiles.

Even the homeless are considered useful as disposable employment objects to erode the security of the employed yet poorer middle class however the homeless could be given better products such as tube tents with high tech gel insulation additive and slots for iron filing over-night warming in cold weather survival situations if the patents were affordable for the homeless.

I will point out how this phenomenon affects
