For a relationship between a man and a woman to succeed for the long term, it needs to have a lasting effect. Finding the perfect match is often a daunting task. Dating a person to get to know one another will help you through this process but it is a real challenge to find the perfect match. You may have to date several people until you find "the one".

Love at first sight sounds wonderful but do you believe that she/he will be the perfect match? It is possible but it is more important to find out if the relationship will work. If you fall in love immediately, you probably think she/he has everything you want but it is possible you get disappointed after some time once you get to know the person better. You're likely to discover the perfect person doesn't exist and finding the perfect match requires time to discover all the qualities to build a lasting relationship.

Finding the perfect match means you first have to know what kind of person you really want in a relationship. Dating is the first step for finding your perfect match but sometimes you'll meet your ideal mate when you least expect. Perhaps you will meet someone when you are traveling and find you share same interests; this can be the start of a good friendship and maybe after some time the start of a relationship. It takes time to discover if she/he will be your perfect match and even then you need to give it time to know if the relationship will last.

There are many possibilities to find your perfect match. Some people try online dating and this has become popular and sometimes successful, but the result can also be a disillusion once you get to know the person behind the text and the photos. The advantage is you shared already many things and know each other's interests but you still don't know if he/she may be your perfect match and online dating has always some risks.

Chatting is popular and you can communicate already but you don't hear each other's voice and some online daters have real bad intentions by lying or misrepresenting themselves. I don't have experience with online dating but I know many people with negative experiences and even some of them were threatened after their first date. Online dating can be successful but be prepared it may not be all you hope to find. Finding the perfect match requires time.

It is really important to be yourself. Don't try to change yourself because personality is really a vital part of getting to know someone. It is also best to try not to feel anxious and
