Poetry: Empowerment

Her eyes flash like lightening,
telling stories you will never hear.
Her hands so small and yet
so capable.
Her skin so radiant and young,
flesh collaborated by the gods.
Her smile is not often but can
turn anyones mood in an instant.
Her voice like that of a mother,
soothing her young.
Her mind is always running,
never stopping to take a breath.
Her being is whole,
it seems to us.
While inside she is dying,
to be put back together.
