Our Love is Quiet
Our love is quiet
It whispers like an angel in my ear
Drowning out the noise
Of the crowd that stands between us
It is silent knowledge
The sound of a teardrop
Evaporating on my cheek
While the traffic screams
While the voices chatter
While the world groans
Our hearts softly harmonise
We exist between the moments
The rest between the notes
That brings beauty to the song
We are the sound of sunlight
We are the melody of a smile
The magic voice of truth
The world shouts to be heard
It's creatures howl and wail
They could never fathom
What lies beneath their babble
It is us
Listening, waiting, knowing
Our love is quiet
Yet is the only thing I hear
