Why do you and I live? What do you yearn for in your life? Do you dare to dream big? It doesn’t matter how old you are. Do you risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for your close friends, for what you believe in? What is your hearts longing? Do you look forward to the adventures of just being alive? I do; that's why I live!
I could care less what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have ever sat down with your pain, with your loved one’s pain, without trying to hide it, fade, it, or fix it. Do you cower in silent sorrow when you’re special someone or other loved ones condemn you for THEIR opinion of your failures? Please don’t! You are precious, glorious, and full of life, with a heart bigger than the moon!
Can you grasp the joy of a moment, the song of a bird, the smile of someone who loves you? Dance with unbridled passion, and let the ecstasy fill you to the brim, from the tips of your fingers, to the bottom of your feet. I will not counsel you to be careful, because I trust you completely and have complete confidence in ALL of your abilities! Be realistic and loving! This is why I live!
Can you bear betrayal without betraying your own precious soul? You are full of life and very trustworthy. You are beautiful, loved, and the reflection of pride to my soul. Can you, with brief setbacks or crisis, still see the beauty in a moment, even if the sun is behind the clouds? Stand by the edge of a meadow or a beautiful river and shout, “Yes!” This is why I live!
It doesn’t matter where you live or how much money you have in the bank! You get up day in and day out and take care of the children, go to work, take care of your responsibilities, even if you had a night of grief and despair the day before! You are wonderful! You are strong; the love in your heart will sustain you. When all else fails, be happy in your free moments because you are loved deeply. This is why we live!
