Poetry: Feelings

The Crowd

Where did this all start?
Too much dust has gathered
This thought process modified
A new born fury
The old one died

As I walk around
Trying to reshape
Figure out a direction
Lost souls get in my way
On my path
And I push
And they scare
And they bustle everywhere
Feeding the new born
Igniting contempt
Of indecision
The thoughtless collision
They stop
I pass
But the anger won't pass
Cooling the nerves
Desires of destruction
Taming a beast
In all its reluctance
To temper the flame
