Imagine a world without prejudice. A world in which the ‘content’ of a person is looked upon and valued more than color or nationality. Imagine if the whole world really was as ‘one’ with each other, each person taking from each other the best of what they had. Now, just think if the barriers that we ourselves have placed where 'dismantled'?
Imagine those barriers - which are really blockades and barriers to peace among each other and nations - imagine if they were systematically taken down. We, the human race, would be stripped bare of all of our pre-conceived ideas about each other. We would be able to see each other for what we really are and, be able to look at the value of every single human life on this earth.
The world would certainly be a better place to live. A world in which people of all colors and nationalities would not be afraid to walk the streets, without fear of attack. A world in which children and adults of every race would smile, say ’hello, how are you’? A world in which there would be no pre-judgement of a person because they are from a certain country, or they happen to be a certain color.
Imagine if this where the case? Hate would cease to exist, love would reign. This would mark a whole new epoch for the human race. We would be entering territory never entered before. Yes, there have been those among us who have flittered with the concept of peace among people worldwide - but the peace they founded was always short-lived.
There have been many people of ’peace’ throughout our time on this planet. They brought us the concept of ’peace and love’. They put into action words that they themselves believed in. They each left a legacy behind after their deaths, but ’true peace’ was only short-lived. True peace lies tantilisingly out of our reach - no matter how hard we may try to reach it.
Despite our tremendous advancements and achievements in technology, our breakthroughs in science and, what we have discovered about our world and ourselves, we have still failed. We have failed miserably in the most fundamental and profound way - we have failed to find ‘lasting peace’. We have never been able to overcome the bitter hatred and ignorance against each other that has blighted our existence on this planet.
This deep-seated
