The argument for outlawing organized political parties in the US

aspect of every political party; individual ideologies may not even have room for totalitarianism in their plan, but the nature of the beast is steadily increasing power through legal means, until all opposition has been defeated and even eliminated. There is no better definition of Totalitarianism than that.

In the end, it doesn't matter how nice Nancy Pelosi seems, or how magnanimous Barak Obama is; their individual ideologies do not take precedence over the party's progress. Rather, they are driven to forward the party's stance at every turn, for the good of the party, not for the good of the people they want to "represent".

Political parties need to be outlawed for more reasons than just this. Political groups are easily compromised by special interests, and by their nature, political parties are bound to give favoritism to those who support them. If the end goal is power without opposition, and the only way to do that is by winning elections, individuals within the party become hostages to the party ideology, whether it is corrupt or not.

Political parties are dangerous because their goal is power without opposition; Totalitarianism. Every task they undertake is to further their ideology, until their is no opposition to that ideology. In the United States of America, what could be better reason for outlawing political parties?

It isn't the individual politician who is frightening. Rather, it is the group dynamic that can be ignored to the cost of us all. If you investigate the voting records of each party, you might come to the same conclusion which I have; which is that individual politicians often sacrifice the good of the people for the power of the party. If we are a nation dedicated to the voice of the people, then no one group should ever be allowed to dictate what that "voice" says. Outlawing political parties would help to ensure that the freedom of the people is upheld.
