Obamacare! The Death of Senior Citizens!
It is said that the Republicans want to make seniors eat dog food and lose their medical care. Nothing could be further from the truth, and Congressman Ryan’s proposal will leave Medicare in tack. Nothing will change for people who are 55 years old and older. For those of you who are under 54, you will have a choice of the same plans that the Congress, and the Senate does. In the words of Whoopi Goldberg, “I want what they have”! This is one of the few times I agree with her.
Congressman Ryan’s proposed bill would make spending cuts that would stimulate the economy and create jobs. He is saying that under this bill, by the year 2015, the unemployed number will be down to 4%. He is not giving us scare tactics; he is giving us the facts and a proposed solution. Under his plan, Medicare can be sustained for those who are 55 and over. For those under 55 years old there will be newer and better options. It is impossible to sustain the spending that the government is doing now. If it keeps up, we'd well advised to take the time to learn Mandarin Chinese. At this rate, it will not be long before China owns us!
This bill will also take the funding away from Obamacare. Even though the courts have declared this bill unconstitutional, our President ignores the law of the land and moves forward in his mission. This bill does contain “death panels” for the elderly as does Obamacare, and it does not tell us that we are not cost efficient to fix. It does not matter if you are old or young; Obamacare has the potential to kill you and bankrupt the country. Don’t take my word for it…read the bill.
"Obamacare" promises nothing more than the consequences of raising the debt and cleansing the country of the sick, elderly and affirmed. Government becomes the new “God” and a panel, not doctors, will decide who will live and who will die. All that has to be done to fix our medical insurance problem is getting rid of all the Medicare and Medi-Cal fraud. Neither party has been willing, nor able to accomplish this. Then we need the right to buy insurance across state lines. This would open the market to competitiveness, especially if you live in California or New York.
To sum it up, Obamacare is a killer! It kills both our economy and the people who are over sixty and not in perfect health. We want our health care to go back to be the best and most affordable in the world. Actually, even though it is broken, people come from all over the world to receive the care we give. All we have to do is make health care more affordable. This could be accomplished by changing a few laws and getting rid of the fraud that exists. Buying across state lines and limiting the amount of compensations that lawyers can sue for would reduce our cost for medical care. We are free people, and we want to continue to have our free choice. We want to be the one responsible for our medical care along with the advice of our doctor. We do not want some bureaucrat in Washington, DC, who could not care less if we live or die, to make that decision for us. They are people who only care that we are no longer contributing and how much better off they are if we die!
