Righteous truth does die quietly it seems.
Not supposed to be that way for resolve.
Lies seem to live longer, though they are wrong.
Now it seems we believe lies much quicker
They grow stronger and told more often too.
Righteous truth does die quietly it seems.
Countries deceive each other many ways.
Countries deceive their people everyday
Lies seem to live longer, though they are wrong.
Parents serve to show children the right way.
Children seem to believe internet more.
Righteous truth does die quietly it seems.
All things whether real or fake hold on tight.
Explained by one, not personally known,
Lies seem to live longer, though they are wrong.
Why is it this way, when did it all change
Will it ever again be different?
Righteous truth does die quietly it seems.
Lies seem to live longer, though they are wrong.

Poetry: Villanelles about truth
At times truth will stare us right in the face
The horrible truth, from which we can't hide
And we can but hang our heads
by Scott Scherr
What is this truth that bends by whims of man
And pacifies his conscience’s need for grey?
Its stature shifts dependent
Truth eludes me, its loyalty I doubt,
It's harassed by lies until it concedes;
Deceit is a stalker that seeks me out.
Honesty
Huxley’s Hell
(Did God decide humanity was hell?)
A species, flawed, susceptible to screams
Existing as a soul, within
Truth Prevails In the Wee, Wee Hours of the Night
His ex harasses him with all her might –
Her cruel words and pounding
