I feel alone...
discarded by the world I trusted with my all.
Broken by the promises I made, myself.
I feel alone, I need you... I need you here, right now, right here.
To feel your willowy warmth surround me,
your strong, masculine arms wrapped around
my fragile weak body.
To feel you seeping through the faults of my broken heart.
And to hear you say my name.
Just a word and I am your slave.
A kiss from your lips to engulf me, protect me, shield me;
from the pain I feel inside.
I am weak. I am a young mare seeking for the warmth of a stallion.
I am a feeble woman, passionate for the man I could never own.
I am a slave, awaiting the command of her master.
I am the face of thy reflection, O my Lord.
And so in my helpless state,
I pick up the phone and dial
hoping you will come to me. Hoping you will save me, hoping you will rescue me
All I need is the nectar that you only provide, all I need is you.
It seems like eternity as I listen to the interval phone ringings
I hear your voice and it sends my blood rushing from my crazed mind.
I struggle for words hoping you will be patient with my lack of understanding,
All I ask is that you embrace me, hold me, just love me for another time.

Amidst the storms that cloud life's joys,
When hope seems fleeting as the wind.
And a heart so easily broken,
feels that hopeless
Just hold me a moment until the dawn,
fight the sleeplessness with but a yawn.
The rays will peak soon to bathe us in light,

I know you should be packing
I know there are a million things that you want to do
Before you leave, before you deploy, before

Just Hold Me
Fever 101
Runny nose
Hot red cheeks
“Just hold me,’” she said.
Before climbing into bed.
