I see the sadness in your eyes
Give me a smile and no more cries
I've fought and lost. Death you have won
As I drift now towards the setting sun
Slowly slipping sleepily slumbering
Drowsily drifting lingering loitering lumbering
Towards a light shining ever so brightly
Like a moth drawn in, circles ever decreasing slightly
Come to me now and give me a kiss
I have no regrets and there's nothing amiss
I feel my soul ready to be borne up on the wings of a dove
As I whisper so softly, goodbye my love
