Finally a movie that exposes the male modeling industry, in a Ben Stiller kind of way.  "Zoolander"(2001) is a comedy that is a movie that never dies with age, especially if your male model Derek Zoolander.

Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) is a model on top of his game.  Not even Fabio can imagine what it must be like to be Derek Zoolander.  A model who will advertise anything and sell it, no matter how ridiculous it may seem, Zoolander has all the right moves and has looks that makes the God Zeus tremble in his shorts.

Enter Hansel (Owen Wilson) who is the cool hipster that is rising in the male modeling ranks.  Another model and possible threat to Derek's reign on the male modeling industry, "Hansel is so hot right now." The two are like the Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig of baseball.

When the two face off at the Male Model Awards to take home Male Model of the Year Derek Zoolander, the four time winner, is about to accept his fifth in a row when the carpet is taken from beneath him and despite his lack of accepting defeat, Hansel is crowned new Model of the Year!  Derek is now faced with a crisis in his career and when three of his best male model friends end their life in a tragic orange frappe mocha chino accident Derek is lost for the first time in his brilliant career.

With Derek considering a retirement, despite his career agent advice from Maury Ballstein (Frank Stiller), Derek goes home to his roots where his family lives and works in the coal mines, as Derek is just looking to fit in somewhere. However this is Derrick Zoolander! The only thing he can do is be a Male Super Model.  Even his father Larry Zoolander ( Jon Voight) is embarrassed to see his only famous son that turned down the mines and real family business, unlike his two other brothers Luke (Vince Vaughn) and Scrappy(Judah Friedlander).

Then enter Mugatu (Will Ferrell), a fashion designer and once model icon, now turned fashionista and owner of Mugatu Modeling Inc. Mugatu is looking to use Zoolander is a new way. Transform this once beloved model into the next comeback story of the year. Unfortunately for Zoolander, he might think he is the next comeback but Mugatu has a new plan to use Zoolander and brainwash him into an assassin.  An assassin to kill the new Prime Minster of Malaysia during Fashion Week, who recently ended child slavery in his country and Mugatu's business partners are not happy with this decision.

How will it all end? Will Derek get help from an unknown source such as Hansel? Will a small time reporter from Time Magazine Matilda Jeffries(Christine Taylor) bust Mugatu's plan?  Perhaps a famous hand model J.P. Prewitt (David Duchovney) will provide guidance to Derek?  Okay most people have seen this movie, but this review is paying homage to the greatest male model ever Derek Zoolander.

"Zoolander" is a hilarious movie that never gets enough praise, hence this review will hopefully get you to get your sexy back with going and find this classic comedy.  Will Ferrell as Mugatu is enough for the price of the movie and even the price of the DVD which is now  a hidden treasure in some movie collection vault.  This review gives Zoolander Four Stars and don't forget to "relax" because Katinka (Mila Jovovich) will have to be rough with you if you do not relax.  Now go get Zoolander!
