Scenes:

Inside the cab.

A mansion on the Southwest side of Detroit, Michigan.

A motel the Northeast side of Detroit, Michigan.

A dramatic struggle at dawn on 8 mile road right where the Tri-counties of upper-class Oakland County; middle-class Macomb County; and lower-class Wayne County; all borderline!

Dawn   February 17th, 2002

HWY #102, the infamous “Eight Mile” @ Rush hour in the rat-race.

11th Precinct Detroit Police Department and

Warren Police Department In tandem, Incident Report:

The Witness: Suspect states that she ran into an old acquaintance from high school and they took a cab down to where it's damn near Dearborn, Michigan.  South wild wild west, Detroit and it was winter.  The suspect’s friend gave the cab driver a “C-note” to hang out and wait for another one.  Or so implied; promised neither lands. . .

Julie sat in the car with the driver while the other two went into the old mansion.  Julie and the cabbie made good assumptions about what bad was going on inside the Casa.  The clock ticked.  The meter clicked and the Cabbie twitched: The levee breaks!

Julie: Don't leave.  I'll go in and get them out.  Don't leave me way down here, please don't!

The Witness:  She pleaded.  Then, as she entered the old mansion, the cab driver drove off.  It's illegal to take a cab fair on a drug-run . . . even in South Wild Wild West, Detroit?  Ha!

Okay, sure!  So inside she finds someone she knows.  A fiend of a friend sort of thing.  She is comforted to some degree but nowhere near completely.  She wants to find the ones she came with.  But the house is filled with rooms and floors, above and below.  It's packed with, God only knows how many people having sex and doing drugs!  I don't know if there was any music there but I sure would hope so.

Julie:  This isn't funny!

The Witness: Okay, Julie found her old high school acquaintance but the cab was gone.  So this other girl named, “What's-Her-Face?” introduces Julie to a black guy
