People often wonder how and why I write.
They say, "I didn't know you could write like that!"
Others say, "You wrote me a poem?"
The answer is yes.
Yes, because people come and go. Many leave impressions.
These are my thoughts and feelings; expressed in one of the best ways I know how.
I pick up my pen; the ink flows freely; and the words come naturally.
I use words to convey my explanations.
I find it easier that way.
They come to me just as day follows night and night follows day.
Writing puts yourself out there on the line to be judged.
I don't mind because I feel it's my purpose.
But, writing allows you to see the reflection of yourself without a mirror.

Poetry: Reflections of you
Looking in your eyes I see
A reflection of what I can be
The chance to hold my head with pride
A beauty that I've hid inside
by Bill Yuska
Once Upon Myself
Walking alone in the darkest light,
Something distant caught
When the rainbow is reflecting the rays of the sun,
Forever accepting the things that I’ve done,
Beautiful as
What is lost, what is gained
As our years now near the end?
Plan for tomorrow, not beyond
No future 'round the bend
Dreams
I catch glimpses of you...
Through windows boarded and shuttered
In your fear and misery
I hear your voice echo
Down
