We should all aspire to reach our life goals. No matter how hard the road we must travel. Setting out what we want to achieve out of life, and reaching those goals, should be the mission for all of us in this life. When we have a target in mind, then we have a ‘focus’. In other words, we have a target to aim for. How we reach that target is up to us - as long as we achieve it legally - without breaking the law.
There will be many disappointments and let-downs along the way. In stating that fact, there is no doubt that we will find out a lot more about ourselves too, There is also the fact that we may surprise ourselves in what we achieve along that road to success.
However, when one does not aspire to any set goals at all, then they are merely ‘drifters’. They flitter here and there through life, not really knowing what they want out of life. This kind of ‘drifting’ can go on for years and, people can become ‘stuck in a rut’.
They have nothing to aim for and nothing to look forward too. The future for them is bleak, because there is nothing to ‘focus’ on. This results is people never ‘pushing’ themselves, people never testing themselves to see just how far they can go. These days especially, there are so many who never give themselves a chance - a chance to succeed.
However, if you have goals, then the road is already set out for us. You just have to know what to do to reach them. This is where hard work, intelligence and not a little luck comes into play. By sitting back and waiting for the door of opportunity to swing wide open, you are simply wasting time.
You must open that door of opportunity yourself, through sheer hard work, determination and perseverance.. We can only discover our goals when we learn how to ‘test’ ourselves. By testing ourselves we are creating opportunities to reach our goals and desires. By not even trying, but rather talking about what you want to achieve out of life, then you are cheating yourself.
Those who do nothing but talking about what they want to achieve, are nothing but fantasists. They are dreamers who will never come to much in life, because they simply do not want to try. In order to reach our desires in life, it takes hard work and an iron-will to succeed, no matter what.
It is amazing how many doors swing open for you if you but try. So in order to reach your goals, you must be of ‘one mind’. Focus, concentrate and be strict with yourself - when you need to be. Others will then see you as single-minded, obstinate, and determined. They will see you as someone who will create their own success, because that person knows what he or she wants out of life.
If we want anything out of this life, we have to be prepared to put in. We only get back what we put in, and so this must be your mantra. Create a ‘window of opportunity’ . By doing so, doors will open for you and you will receive the help you need, to see you on your way to your goal.
