Poetry: Sonnets about anger

by Cecil Hickman

Created on: April 06, 2011   Last Updated: April 13, 2011

Such torrid resentment flows from raging storm,
Infuriated wind pounds unhidden.
Aggravated water in adverse norm,
Anger will pay, never be forgiven.

Irritation you spread, cannot win calm.
Abnormal feelings gathered are your style.
My tempered lover, your heart’s a time bomb.
Raging demoralized, listed and vile,

Provoked by lovers, which you thought had love.
Though no love, for you or anyone else,
Resist history and bad-tempered glove.
Save passion, you are stumbling in remorse.

Through the irritation in your lost mind,
My lover, anger shall not be refined.
