Get His Attention: FLIRT!

 Why do we flirt? To get the attention of the opposite sex. How do we flirt? Just as everyone has their own personality and style, everyone also has their own flirting style. Below is a list of simple ways to flirt. Play with these suggestions. When you find some flirtatious ways make them your own. Add your own little twist to them so they reflect your personality.

A few easy steps to flirting with the opposite sex.

* Have fun!

Flirting is fun so have fun with it!  You cannot flirt if you aren't enjoying yourself.  No one will be captivated by a gloomy flirt so find something you enjoy and flirt while having fun. 

* Make eye contact!

Look directly into his eyes then look away for a few seconds.  Make eye contact again, this time hold his gaze for a moment before looking away.  This will get his attention if he is even just a little bit interested he will return your gaze. 

*Smile!

Give him a dose of your sweet smile.  Be careful your smile is not a mile wide overzealous smile. This calls for a soft smile just to let him know you are  friendly and approachable.  Mix a your sweet smile with eye contact and you are sure to get his attention.

* Give a Little Wink

 If your brave enough give a little wink.  If your not brave enough to wink try batting your eyes a little.  Never underestimate the power of a simple bat of an eye.  Men love a little flutter of the eye lashes.

* Touch

While talking to a member of the opposite sex gently touch their arm or hand.  A light gentle touch will let the object of your interest know that you are more than a little interested while also respecting their personal space. 

* Be Confident

Confidence is attractive!  Confident people attract people and gain respect.  So let your confidence show.  If you are low on confidence try to work on that a little.  Give yourself a pep talk.  Speak out your good points. 

*  Lean a Little

Show that you are interested when the object of your flirtation is talking.  Show that you are paying attention, by leaning in a little bit when they talk.  Really listen so you can comment.  This will allow your flirting to carry into a real conversation. 

* Do Not Fake It

Don't be fake or try to hard! Thats not attractive.  While we live in a world where so much is fake or can be faked it is a fact that being real is like a breath of fresh air.  Don't pretend like you are something you are not.  Pretending can catch a guy but in the end do you really want someone if you have to compromise yourself in order to get?

* Don't Stop!

Most importantly, when you catch your mate don't stop flirting with them. We all like to be flirted with. After 10 years of marriage my husband still likes it when I flirt with him.

Flirting is supposed to be fun.  Keep it playful, relax and be yourself.  Flirting should never be forced or fake.  Be complimentary.  Everyone loves to be complimented.  A simple compliment can make a persons day and will definately help in the area of flirting.
