What Makes Stamford a Great Place to Live?
Historic, coastal, metropolitan and centrally located – all that and more make Stamford the great city that it is. And who wouldn’t want to live in a place like that?
Location, Location, Location
Stamford has a great location and access to a variety of transportation options. Smack dab in the heart of lower Fairfield County, Connecticut – Stamford is considered part of the New York metropolitan area. It takes about 45 minutes to get from Stamford to Grand Central on the Metro-North express train. If trains aren’t your thing, never fear. You can also drive into the city in an hour, or take the high-speed ferry for about the same transit time as the train.

Harbor Point is in the process of creating beautiful water front homes, additional retail spaces and incredible hotel and office locations. A world-class marina is also in development. As it stands, there are two new Class-A office buildings, two new residential towers, amazing retail stores and a gorgeous, huge, new Fairway Market is also already in existence.
