Post-Modernism: Inner conflict and claims about the 'end of Philosophy'

pertain to everyone and it is therefore null and void. In a truly subjective world, objection is unnecessary and falsehood. Post-Modernism's attack on definition, frame of reference, and its natural tendency for entropy can dissolve almost any well formulated idea. The challenge of sorts, that Post-Modernism proposes, is getting around definition, frame of reference, and grand narratives.

The assertion that Post-Modernism is the end of philosophy is ridiculous. Let us look through the evolution of Western Literature. Radical subjective opposition has repeated itself throughout history, for example: The sophists who opposed Socrates, Nietzsche who opposed Socrates, and countless other attempts to disprove objectivity through subjectivity. The problem does not lie in the opposition, but the philosophy of the opposition. If Post-Modernism asserts that everything is subjective, that in itself is an objective claim, and disproves itself entirely. If Post-Modernism can view anything with such a critical eye and disprove it on the basis of subjectivity, than it too is subject of that glance, and can be disregarded as subjectively bias. What is the frame of reference for Post-Modern thought? It'd never claim a collective stance, that'd undermine its entire philosophy. Post-Modernism's frame of reference comes out of an anxiety for influence.

People will believe in moral things, not because they want to, but because they want to be right. Rather than any real belief in the content of the belief, they agree with what they think is right. For instance, when a Post-Modernist espouses subjectivity and relativism, they do so without thinking about the consequences, implications, or contents and claims of the belief, but they merely attach to the thought of subjectivity because it seems right. Much similar to how a person would attach themselves to the Nazi party during WWII, because they believed them to be right. In this case, Post-Modernism as an end to philosophy, is ridiculous, because Post-Modernism regrets to admit that they formulate out of a need for differentiation, they form out of an anxiety of influence, so they disassociate any influence in itself. Post-Modernism is a direct result of people who come under the anxiety of influence from others before them. Many people rightly associate pride with the drive to exceed ones predecessors. Post-Modernism is this attack.

As mentioned before, Post-Modernism is not a new idea entirely of itself. Questions undermining their
