For over fifty years Dr Seuss has been entertaining children and adults alike. His work has stood the test of time and he has been considered by many as one of the greatest introductions children can have to the world of literature. However it is not just in his wonderfully illustrated books that children can now find enjoyment in. Featuring a range of different games with all your favourite characters it is a one stop shop for every Dr Seuss fan. With over 100 activities and games there is something to suit everyone.
There are six main games, with each one being based on a characters from the more well known books, such as Horton Hears a Who, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Cat in the Hat, Oh The Places You'll Go and Fox in Socks. As with all Dr Seuss things there is a high educational value however it is presented in such a fun and entertaining manner that children will probably not even realise they are learning.
While playing the games children will encounter mazes, tours around America, reading, hand eye co ordination and of course rhyming. All while having fun! The games range in skill and ability and there is probably something to suit most 4 to 7 year olds. Naturally though the younger child will need assistance with the reading side of things.
