As I stepped out into a new world of my own, one thing came into my mind - Be successful in all that I do to generate wealth. I have just started my walk in early retirement. Every step I take has to be taken with utmost care as the path I am now treading on will lead me to my destiny or failure.

I have always wanted to run a business. It is easy to look at other businessmen and their businesses. What we see, is only an outside view. Take for example, an outside view of a house may be very nice and attractive. But is the same for the interior as well. Is it a home or a mess?

I have formulated my checklist based on how I want to live my new lifestyle in early retirement :

a. No direct sales business as I am a lousy salesperson.
b. No mlm as I do not like the idea of having to recruit to earn from others.
c. No business that requires me to keep servicing customers till late at night.
d. No business that would require me to rent/buy an office space.
e. No business that requires me to employ staff and worry about their welfare.
f. No business that requires me to be in office all the time.
g. No business that reguires me to be rushing from place to place to sell products.
h. A business that I can control from anywhere and anytime.
i. A business where my income is passive and monthly.
j. A business where multiple streams of income keep flowing in.
k. A business where I am passionate about - online and internet.
l. A business where I can live, work and play all at one time.

Having this checklist has helped me to filter many business opportunities that have been offered to me. I have settled for a few businesses and it centred around the use of internet and is online. That's the freedom I want to have in running any business. In any of my businesses, passion is the neucleus of the whole activity.
