God
is the spark
that gave life to my body
and formed my soul.
He is the journey I make
and the stone
I lay my weary head upon,
the soothing drop of rain
that quells my aching thirst;
He is the golden ray of sun
that warms me from within,
the juice in the peach
that revives my parched lips;
He is the beauty in each flower
that comforts and inspires
and the meaning in every wise word
which calms my worried mind.
He is every strange coincidence,
the footprints of each true path
and the cause of every happiness
I've known;
He is a feeling inside my heart,
an instinct of my soul,
the light that guides me
and feeds the spirit within,
for He is always there
if I just open up my mind
and listen to him.
He created every Universe
everywhere
and yet
in all this great expanse
He chose to include me;
and although He could command me
to do as He demands
He wants me
to be the master of my soul,
to come willingly to him
and show Him who I really am;
my friend,
God.

I watch the villain hunt

Or lock you in a prison of letters,
