Among other horror genres, like vampirism, zombie movies are probably the most watched genres.Zombie movies offer many perspectives on the horrific condition that renders people unable to make conscious decisions.Zombies are in an altered state of consciousness, in which they are in dire need of food.

There are many, many zombie movies that have been released, and more are sure to come.

In 1992, Peter Jackson directed Braindead. The name was later changed to Dead Alive for North American release. In the movie, Lionel's mother is bitten by a "rat monkey", and comes back a ravenous, brainthirsty creature from the dead.He must battle with his mother and countless other zombies in his city.

In George Romero's 2005 movie Land of the Dead, a city is overrun by ruthless zombie creatures.People who have  alot of money are secured in skyscrapers while the poor are left for dead.A group of people try to stop the creatures.Watch to find out what happens, because I am not going to be  spoiler.

Directed by John Russo, The Return of the Living Dead is a sort of sequel to The Living Dead. All I can tell you is watch this movie!

In 2004, Zack Snyder recreated George Romero's classic Dawn of the Dead.A group of people are trapped inside a Wisconsin Mall, and must survive their grueling situation. With modern day make up and other film necessities, this film is definitely a must-see.

Dellamorte Dellamore(Cemetary Man),directed by Michele Saovi, is an Italian Zombie Film.In Bufalora,Italy, a cemetary caretaker who dispels of the flesheating creatures, and who also tends to the cemetary grounds when he isn't killing zombies.Martin Scorsese rated this film "one of the best movies of the 1990s".

Shaun of the Dead is more entertaining than terrifying.Simon Pegg plays as an electronics salesman who does his best to rescue his ex-girlfriend from the grasp of the epidemic of zombies. His best friend follows along, and you're in for a surprise.

Last but not least is Zombieland, a more recent film from 2009.A Texan college student  fends for himself as zombies take over the towns in America. With thirty rules, he decides to travel to Ohio to see if his parents are still alive. This zombie movie is also comical.
