Masks
Trapped in a world of perfect misery
Without an escape, woe is me
Where every single day is a copy of a copy
As I live like a masked robot, not a human being
Oh no, this just couldn’t be, there must be a fault, a glitch, an anomaly
No oh, how could this be, there must be a fault, a glitch, an anomaly
Cuz I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe
So get me out of here
This mask’s become a part of me
Just get me out of here
It stole my identity
Get me out of here
Lost in a world of false placidity
Submerged in all of the world’s illusions
Yet I can’t break free of my own delusions
Hanging by a thread, that’ll break any minute
I can’t seem to let go but I don’t want to give in
Oh no, this just couldn’t be, there must be a fault, a glitch, an anomaly
Oh no, how could this be, there must be a fault, a glitch, an anomaly
And it’s killing me, it’s killing me, it’s killing me
So get me out of here
This mask’s become a part of me
Just get me out of here
It stole my identity
Get me out of here
Lost in a world, lost in a world …
Lost in me
I wanna break free
Lost in me
I wanna break free
Lost in me
I wanna break free
So get me out of here
This mask’s become a part of me
Just get me out of here
It stole my identity
Get me out of here
Lost in a world of false placidity

Poetry: My way
Your way may work for you,
But I do things my way.
I have my own way of getting the job done.
Why do you have to have your
I want to be a grip-man
Charged with navigating the cable cars

I could be proud of that,
Free Verse
Is there any such thing as a free verse?
Don't we all try to rhyme, if it's poetry we write?

Hands shake, legs tremble
but I am not nervous
Balance lost, feeling dizzy
but I am not drunk
Depression floods, stubbornness
