Bless my children Lord, I pray
Protect and cover them today
I place them in your loving care
I affirm to leave them there
Bring your kingdom to their lives
Have your will with them, anywise
Give them daily what they need
Forgive their sins, and supersede
Keep them from temptation's snares
That they be not caught; unaware
For yours is the kingdom, and the power
Their glory and guidepost every hour
Be the reason for their joys
Not the shallow kind this world employs
Get them through the darkest storms
Keep their hearts safe and warm
I trust you better than anyone
To hold them close to your bosom
They are yours, they belong to you
Bless them Lord in all they do
Amen

This soul you have entrusted to me
A little bundle who will be so dependent
