What you see as a decline in courage, I see as an increase in wisdom. On 9/11 the American people had been lied to, and at that point in time very few knew better than to go along with what they were being told. People are beginning to look at the facts, rather than just take the word of CNN, or Fox news.
Its a fact that when people are angry, or upset, they are unable to think rationally about issues. Rather, they make more impulse decisions. It's those impulse decisions that made Americans agree to going overseas. Had we been able to really look at the situation before hand, I don't believe we'd be in the situation we are in now.
I'd like you, and everyone else to sit back and really think... Who benefited from the events on Sep. 11th? What did Osama Bin Laden, or any terrorist organization really gain? 9/11 was used to gain ground, put the middle east under control of the "Good guys." Now that people are beginning to awake to the fact that Iraq was a mistake, the people in control pick a new target (Iran) and start a vast media campaign (It is the media after all that supplies the people with their information on these issues) getting Iran to look like the enemy. Make them look like a bunch of bad men who're trying to turn the world in to a chaotic mess. (I personally found it hilarious how hard news stations were trying to make the leader of Iran look like a horrible person when he always talked with honest eyes about unity of the people on Earth.)
9/11 has caused many of our freedoms to be taken from us in the name of national security, when its the ones taking our freedom that we need protection from. If you really believe the American government cares even a little bit about your well being, or mine, or any other citizen, you severely need to wake up to reality. If they pretend they care, its for their benefit, I mean, we are providing for their salaries are we not?
