There is no cure for birth or death-we must relish the time in between.....I am only 26 and have been to more funerals than I have fingers.Ive lost my mother,my father(17 days after my mom)My grandparents,my uncle,etc.... I am now petrified of death, but more so of losing another loved one.I am only sure of one thing.. that life is not fair...it is cruel, cold and miserable at times. But it is also beautiful and warm at times as well. You have to take the bad with the good and chalk it up to experience and knowledge gained. Most people live their lives(especially young people)like nothing can or will happen to them, but for me life has only taught me to brace myself for the next storm....it is comming.I have struggled with this consuming fear for years,to no evail. Its hard for me to imagine myself living into there 70's 80's and beyond.....I only know what my experience has taught me.Our lives are fragile and brief....we must live everyday like it is our last, but at the same time we cannot live in fear of the end,its something that happens to all of us...and chances are when it happens to you....youll never even know it. It is the ones we leave behind who suffer.
