"This is love's savage reclamation"
So full of pain
but I'm to blame
for my misery.
The decisions I've made,
cast a spear right through my heart
I was damned from the start
for loving you.
Holding on too long
I thought I was strong
but I'm damaged
by your words.
God it hurts!
I cannot STAND
the suffering
the sadness
the pain
but I'm to blame
I'll drown on my tears
if its all the same
to You
What must I do?
To silence
my sorrow
Will I feel better
tomorrow?
Tell me its not true
It was a mistake
falling in love with you
Just as things fell apart
I realized how I felt
The hand I was dealt
was tainted and torn
hurt was born
from the start
of our union
Cruelest communion
of differing hearts
bleeding
open
and
alone
to choke on the bitter tears
of regret.
