Trying to find the balance
From what is yet to come
At least I got to cherish
The years my kids were young
For although I am in pain
I know I'm still alive
And when my time shall come
I won't run away to hide
Not many understand
Or like my train of thought
But once the fight is over
At least I always fought
I shall continue to live in pain
Because I know I can
And even on my weakest day
I know it's not the end
Sometimes I start to cry
Wondering why this happened to me
Then I come to my senses
Realizing what no one else can see
I don't take my life for granted
I don't live my days in shame
The only way to understand
Would be to feel my pain
It's something I'd never allow
Because this curse is mine alone
The cross that I shall carry
Along my journey home
Just promise you'll always remember
The woman I tried to be
Know that I always loved you
The way that you love me
Please don't think of my tumor
When someone mentions my name
That will give me the perfect balance
Helping me forget about my pain

It cannot be summarized without being mistaken
