The rising sun peeks through the morning mist
Shines down upon my picket garden gate
That's covered there with roses softly

Festive Spring

Sunlight and earth unite in ode to spring,
As nature paints in colors of rebirth.
All creatures form a chorus-

Inside a single breath

Exists the prospect

Of twenty cyclones

Inside one daffodil

There lies the promise

Of spring in full

Spring in a Forest

Early morning right after the sun rose.

Through a forest I walked all alone.

And I marveled at how

Cascading petals,

drifts of spring,

falling through the leaf-green sky.

Life unseen

now bursting forth,
