Poetry: Computers

by Geoffrey Schmitt

Created on: March 02, 2011

We can’t live with them or without

They drive us crazy there’s no doubt

From morning ‘till the setting sun

They’re now the way to get things done

Except when they come crashing down

To leave us with perpetual frowns

We always want the latest ware

We spend our money if we dare

Though come tomorrow or the next

What’s new today will soon be hexed

Cursed by some hacker’s virus worm

Whose sickness makes our stomach squirm

Yet we go on our digit way

knowing computers here to stay
