Why is it so hard to be sincere
To be truthful and kind year after year
Just to be truly pure
And bear trials and to endure?
When is it good to be sincere?
Always, no matter what the fear
Put aside hypocrisy and injustices
False smiles and cold kisses.
How can we be sincere
In a world that seems not to care ?
Be true to yourself and others
Don’t imitate your uncaring brothers.
Where can we show sincerity?
Everywhere, in showing charity
At home, abroad, work and play
Just having good and nice things to say.
