Buying beauty and skin care products as gifts can be such a joy. Chosen carefully, the right product can really make a difference to how a person feels and they show you care about them.

Tips for buying the right product for the right person will vary because, when it comes to beauty and skin care, it can be difficult to get it right but if you know someone well, you can choose something which they will love.

First, if you know the person well, you will know the kind of things they like but if you are buying for someone who you do not know so well, it might be safer to buy them a related product but one which is not actually skin cream or something which they apply personally because you might select the wrong color, smell or texture and it might just sit unused on the sideboard. Instead, buy them something related and unusual such as toe massagers, a pumice stone, a pretty bag to put toiletries in or a comb. For some reason hair brsuhes seem more personal so a comb is better.

For someone you really know well, buying beauty and skin care products is fairly easy but it is still important ot get it right. Choose something which you know they would like but which they may not buy themselves. For example, if your friend is a busy mum she may have little money or time to buy herself a really luxurious bath oil , milk or gelee. If you buy her one, tell her it is just for her use and she will adore you for thinking of her. You can get ones which are especailly fragranced to held unwind, relax and calm before sleep so this also shows thought and care.

If you know your friend's skin type, you could opt for a more expensive moisturiser to make her feel pampered. If buying for a man, there are lots of very unusual products such as aftershave foams and balms which many men woul dnot buy themselves but love to use as they moistrise and pamper their skin after sahaving. Shower gels and bath foams can suit men just as well as women and they do like them.

A lovely idea are bars shaped as fruit, stones and solid colors which look like soap but are actually body oils. Rubbed in the hand or on the skin directly, they give off just enough oil to give a luxurious shine and soft layer and they come in a range of gogeous scents for men and women - Lush and Body Shop stock them . These make unusual and very distinctive gifts.

Bath bombs are a favorite of many of my frinds and make the perfect small gifts for any occasion, You can buy one or several, depending on the occasion and both men and women love the fun put into the bath along with the fragrance and skin softening properties.

Everyone likes to be pampered so buying beauty and skin products should be celebrated and carefully chosen gifts can brighten up anyone's day.
